Height: 6'0 7/8     Weight: 178
Grade: 7.15         Round: 2

Sam Beal came into Western Michigan as a 2 star prospect who played both wide receiver and cornerback. He played wide receiver as a freshman before transitioning to the defensive side of the ball. Beal was a big contributor the the Broncos 13-1 season in 2016. He went head to head with Corey Davis in practice for the season, maturing him at a rapid rate. Beal was named to Second Team All-MAC Defense and was slated to return to school for his senior season before being deemed academically ineligible.
