Ed Oliver

#10 University of Houston, Defensive Tackle (Junior)
Height: 6'3     Weight: 290
Grade:     Round:

Ed Oliver is an absolute force on the defensive line. As a consensus All-American in 2017, and an AP and ESPN All-American in 2016, he dominated the moment he stepped on the field as a true freshman and his presence has been felt every snap since. His sack numbers are pretty good among DT, where he lines up majority of the time. The table above shows just how talented Oliver is, exceeding the tackle for loss production of every name on the list, four of which are some of the best defensive linemen in the NFL. Every first rounder on this list will be a stud in the league for years to come, and Oliver has the tools and abiltiy to become the best of them all. He has good size to be an NFL 3T and he also widens play calling ability by giving the defensive coordinator the option to move him outside to rush off the edge as well.
