Brandon Bryant

#1 Mississippi State University, Safety (Redshirt Junior)
Height: 5'11        Weight: 207
Grade: 5.20        Round: 6-7

Brandon Bryant was a 3 star safety coming into Mississippi State. After redshirting his true freshman year, Bryant played in all 13 games in his redshirt freshman season, which also happened to be his most productive of the three. Bryant had three interceptions and 63 tackles as a freshman, and both of these numbers fell in his sophomore season, and once again in his junior season. Bryant has been rumoured to have run 40 yard dashes below 4.3, and he definitely has the speed and the athletic make-up to, in his worst scenario, be a special teamer. Between his production numbers falling year by year, and his arrest in January, his character has been in question, but if a team has excess draft picks, he may be a worthy pick in the late rounds.

Tracks the ball well in the air

Has great speed, ran a 4.45 40 yard dash

Good tackler, has the ability to be very rangy

Could carve out a role as a very good special teamer in the NFL

Has trouble diagnosing plays

Was quite unproductive in his junior season

Didn't see an overwhelming amount of playing time

Charged with a DUI in January
