Adonis Alexander

#36 Virginia Tech, Cornerback (Junior)
Height: 6'2        Weight: 195
Grade: 4.75      Round: 6

Adonis Alexander was a 3 star safety coming into Virginia Tech. Alexander played his freshman season at safety and hauled in four interceptions, part of the reason why he was named a Second Team Freshman All-American. In his sophomore season he transitioned to cornerback, where he became less productive, finishing the season with only two interceptions. Alexander dealt with a hamstring issue that caused him to miss some time in his junior season, and he finished the season with one interception. While he may have been less productive each season in terms of plays on the ball, it may be a testament to his IQ and ability to read the quarterback as a safety, where he played as a freshman.
